The British boxer will face Jake Paul in an eight-bout match which will be broadcast live on Netflix.
Briton Joshua declared he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "overpower" the American as the two fighters confronted each other to publicize the upcoming heavyweight fight.
Former two time world heavyweight champion Joshua battles social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a massive disparity - at Miami arena on 19 December.
Boxer's Mindset
"I plan to break his face and hurt his body. I aim to demonstrate my superiority," the British boxer, 35, stated.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's how fighters think.
"I intend to genuinely try to injure him. That's my intention."
Civil Exchange
In spite of those words, a composed Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - usually recognized for his showmanship - exchanged pleasantries and kept it respectful with each other.
Paul instead targeted ex Joshua's rival Francis Ngannou and labeled him "a joke" after Ngannou rejected a fight offer.
Targeting Fury
Joshua, in the meantime, targeted British opponent Fury - and refused a £1m bet 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a Paul victory.
"Jake Paul outshines Tyson Fury - he showed up," the boxer commented.
"I respect him for that."
Legitimate Opponent
In spite of stating he plans to punish Paul, Joshua chose not to talk badly about his rival's fighting skills.
"Jake is a credible opponent," he said.
Jake Paul's History
Jake Paul - who first rose to fame on the Disney Channel - has primarily boxed mixed martial artists or declining opponents since entering professional boxing.
He lost to Briton Tommy Fury in 2023.
Commercial Success
Nevertheless, the relative newcomer is still one of boxing's largest financial successes, frequently receiving substantial earnings.
Forecast and Confidence
The 28-year-old anticipated a stoppage in rounds four or five and claimed he would derail the long-awaited Joshua–Fury fight, which is apparently being planned for two years from now.
"The next fight will be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul declared.
Size Difference
As both boxers met for the traditional confrontation, with their physical disparity on show, it highlighted just how surprising this complete situation is - and how amazing it is that the bout is truly going ahead.
